Midway, KY — October 7, 2025 — Bluegrass Distillers is proud to announce a special partnership with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses®, celebrating one of America’s most cherished traditions with the release of a limited-edition Toasted Oak Bourbon.
This release is secondary-aged in toasted American oak barrels, deepening the character of the bourbon with layered notes of caramel, vanilla, pecan, and oak spice. Hand-selected barrels were chosen for their balance and complexity to create a bourbon worthy of celebration.
Crafted in limited quantities, bottles are now available for pre-order via Bourbon Outfitter, with distribution into California to follow. Bottled at 100 proof and priced at $50 SRP, the release honors Kentucky’s bourbon-making tradition while also reflecting the Tournament of Roses’ mission: bringing people together to celebrate the hope and joy of a new year filled with unlimited possibilities—an occasion that inspires imagination and creates lasting memories.
This special edition will also be featured in promotions and samplings during the Tournament of Roses festivities, giving guests and participants an opportunity to experience the bourbon as part of the celebration.

Home of the first Kentucky Blue Corn Bourbon. Our award-winning Blue Corn Bourbon is now being grown at our Elkwood Farm location just down the road from Frankfort, KY. This product has a nutty sweetness unlike any other product on the market. While currently available seasonally, we invite you to visit our Elkwood Farm in Midway, KY for a grain-to-glass experience, where you can witness our corn up close and savor the fresh-from-the-still taste of our Blue Dog.

In the shadow of Wheeler Peak, carved out by glaciers long ago, the La Cal Basin traps snowmelt and rainwater, with nowhere to go, this alpine water slowly seeps into the ground. It is here, after nearly eight decades of filtering through the mountains, that our water resurfaces, born anew by way of the Phoenix Spring.
